FuturEnergy Wind Turbine Installation Course

Duration: 1 day

Our small wind turbine course was  developed exclusively for FuturEnergy Ltd and offers potential installers  the opportunity to expand into the renewable energy markets with their 1kW wind turbines. This one day course is set to the same standard as a fully accredited one, although  FuturEnergy turbines are not accredited as yet. To make the most of the course, it would be an advantage if candidates have a reasonable working knowledge of electrical installations and regulations, but this is not essential. Our advice for those who may be concerned about the electrical aspects of the course material may wish to invite a representative from a local electrician service who you intend to use for actual installations, once you've been approved by FuturEnergy Ltd.

Course format
This course covers technical specification and construction of FuturEnergy turbines, site analysis, electrical installations, mechanical tower construction and all safety aspects.

This is an intensive one day course covering the theory and best practices to be adopted when installing FuturEnergy wind turbines.  It would be an advantage for candidates to have a working knowledge of electrical installations and understand basics such as 'Ohms Law'.  Knowledge of Low voltage DC wiring will be an advantage.

FuturEnergy have stipulated that candidates must complete a case study successfully in order to be authorized as their installers. This will take the form of a written report which candidates can complete and return in their own time after the course.
